Allah created everything and everyone. He has beautiful names (Asma ul husna) .Each name highlights a particular aspect of HIM.
All the created beings know HIM through these aspects, names and remember HIM.
In turn each name acts as a Rabb ( one who nourishes,grow) and look after the created beings.
Allah is called Rabb ul alimeen as all names belong to HIM and He nourishes all.
These names were taught/anchored in ADAM and from Adam to humankind.
From these you derive your capabilities e.g.
from Al Aleem you have ilm (knowledge ),
from Al Khaliq you create,
from Al Bari you evolve ,
from Al Rehman everybeing show mercy to each other,
from Al Malik you can own other,
from Al Momin you take belief,
from Al Ghaffar you forgive ,
from Al Wahab you make gifts,
from Al Shakur you give than,
from Al Saboor you have patience, and other traits.
Because each name acts a rabb you can become rabb of someone else . you can grow and look after everything in this universe as humans are made in charge of whole this dominion.
The amount you show and display these names is your shukr (thankfulness ) and whatever you hide or do not display is kufr.
The thing to remember is that you are NOT to become rabb . Rabb belongs to names which all belongs to Allah .You have to display these good names in this universe and be thankful. By doing so you remember Allah. (Zikr)
So all the Messengers remind people to let go of each others, not to control,subdue or hold each other back and actually be truly free by remembering Allah names Who is Rabb ul alimeen.
