04 HOLY MONTHS.

Allah has made hurmat (sacred) for you in space and time.

. إِنَّ عِدَّةَ الشُّهُورِ عِندَ اللَّـهِ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَهْرًا فِي كِتَابِ اللَّـهِ يَوْمَ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ مِنْهَا أَرْبَعَةٌ حُرُمٌ

In space it is HolyKaaba and it’s surrounding, while in time it is 04 months (Rajab, Dhilqaddah, Dhilhajjah, Muharram) .

To perform Hajj you have to go in this space i.e Masjid Haram and surrounding area during this time i.e these four months.

. الْحَجُّ أَشْهُرٌ مَّعْلُومَاتٌ فَمَن فَرَضَ فِيهِنَّ الْحَجَّ

this is a sad state of affair that so many Muslims have been stopped from performing Hajj in all these months.

Qattal (killing) is forbidden in these months, even the animals and if you kill you will have to make up for it (qassas)

الشَّهْرُ الْحَرَامُ بِالشَّهْرِ الْحَرَامِ وَالْحُرُمَاتُ قِصَاصٌ

Now you cannot kill while in ihram, not kill in kaaba, and not to kill in 04 months.

If you are not going to kill animal in 04 months how will you eat meat during this time?

أُحِلَّ لَكُمْ صَيْدُ الْبَحْرِ وَطَعَامُهُ مَتَاعًا لَّكُمْ وَلِلسَّيَّارَةِ وَحُرِّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ صَيْدُ الْبَرِّ مَا دُمْتُمْ حُرُمًا وَاتَّقُوا اللَّـهَ الَّذِي إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ ﴿المائدة: ٩٦﴾

So fish and creatures of sea which are captured/enslaved (because word is saidulbahar ) can be eaten in harram while animals of land (saidulbarr) are forbidden in these months.

بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَوْفُوا بِالْعُقُودِ أُحِلَّتْ لَكُم بَهِيمَةُ الْأَنْعَامِ إِلَّا مَا يُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ غَيْرَ مُحِلِّي الصَّيْدِ وَأَنتُمْ حُرُمٌ إِنَّ اللَّـهَ يَحْكُمُ مَا يُرِيدُ

Here concession made for sheep,goat, cow and camel which can be eaten but only those which are not captured or enslaved ( غَيْرَ مُحِلِّي الصَّيْدِ). It will mean nowadays that animals which are captured for business like mass slaughtering, meat markets, frozen meat should be avoided.

No other animal,bird ,chicken should be killed or eaten in these 04 months

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَيَبْلُوَنَّكُمُ اللَّـهُ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنَ الصَّيْدِ تَنَالُهُ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَرِمَاحُكُمْ لِيَعْلَمَ اللَّـهُ مَن يَخَافُهُ بِالْغَيْبِ فَمَنِ اعْتَدَىٰ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ فَلَهُ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ ﴿المائدة:

ISLAMIC PRACTICE

Islam is a practical deen. For four months it forbids you to fight or quarrel. This apply to whole country as well as each individual. It teaches you self restraint. You do not kill as a nation, as a group or as a person. Even animals are not to be killed or captured. This is a huge way to demonstrate to whole of the world, the mercy of Islam. You have to learn patience and calmness in these months.

HAJJ IN ISLAM

Allah has made for you easiness. Now you make extra space for people by making tall buildings and tunnels for a hefty price ,while you limit the time to five days of dhilhajjah. As high structures have been condemned in Quran a more appropriate way is to open up the time for Hajj to all four months, keep the prices low, open up the area so people can come by road, rail or sea even on foot.

Islam is an easy and open deen, as a Muslim we should practice Islam with all its beauty.
