ذنوب

There are different kind of sins which our souls commit because of their inherent nature as it is a combination of good and evil. Allah has given guidance in Quran to rectify them. He has given us His names to overcome our sins. He send His messengers to practically show how it is done.

We read the word “ذنب ” or ” ذنوب ”  in Quran and it is translated as sin, but what kind of sin does this word refers to?

“ZANB” and its various manifestations

The actual meaning is to follow someone , to get behind the tail and keep on the same track, people followed one another, events followed one after other. Tail, end part of some thing, end of the road. Keep behind.This is an animal behavior.

Like man behind the camels in desert walking head to tail, in line. Insect like locust putting its tail down to earth to lay eggs, thus meaning that at the end you perish and new creation starts.

When the dates show ripening.

It generally refers to a bad end and thus translated as crime or sin.

The end of something like end of a valley, end of road, outermost edge, the last or latter part, the last time, end of the time, end of light, the dim part of it.

The flowing river, tear or fluid, the end of it so as to be perished or finished.

The long tailed story, a story which never ends, a day in which evil does not comes to end, long continued evil.

The last of the people, the dependents,followers. People below a leader, a leader with followers holding his opinion. People following people .

WHAT IT MEANS

Allah created everything and made it a sign for you. So everything has a beginning and end, start and finish, head and tail, inner and outer, first and last, bright and dark, and so on.

As a human character it is inherent in you but as you grow you have to come forward, come out of darkness, not to be a follower or dependent. Those who persist in this “zanb” state are left behind, perish, lose,remain behind in all walk of life. As a nation you are behind other nations, you follow other nations in speech, in behavior, in character, in economics, in education and you do not rise above and lead others.

If you look around you will find that majority of people are in this ” zanb” state without realizing the implications.

Religious groups-  Because many of the religions have lost there originality, you find people following various rituals, rites, graves, shrines, temples and so on.

Intellectuals- Most of the people receiving various intellectual teachings like science, philosophy, economics are just following a preset order without any disruption. Very few are able to break the old ground.

Children- It is must for children to follow initially and as they grow they have to break out of this state until they are mature. That is the reason at age forty one submits to Allah and pray for being a Muslim.

Nations- At a national level the nations who are not able to get out of this state are looked down upon by other nations, they remain backward, they remain dependent on other support.

As an individual or as a group we must quit this state to become a true Muslim.

HOW ISLAM DEAL WITH “ZANB”

Islam calls you to Allah who is ever living, ever creating, He has no repetitions and has ascended His throne from matter to ARSH.

Rasool calls you to Allah by not following any people but only Allah and thus gives you one Book of Allah to follow, which ascends.

If you fail to ascend this rope you suffer loss eventually.

So Islam calls every one to be independent of each other, be creative, display different manifestations and yet come under one law of Allah.

If you observe your society to be far from this, you certainly are far from Islam.

For believer “zanb” is one sin which will be covered by ALGHAFIR

This is Allah mercy.

“zanb” is lethargy, fatigue, not willing to change your habits, your nature, your customs, traditions, culture, ideas, and your way of life. This is contentment with what you have, satisfied with previous routine, previous ideas and old notions. A nation following the ways of old nations which have been lost before, you are also doomed certainly. Your belief calls you to be free of this and thats why true believers ask like this:
