For billions of years, stars have been there, alone and shining, knowing not whether anyone is looking upon them or not, just working in silence for eons.
Are they just physical objects or they serve any purpose?
For millions of year, humanity has looked upon them with attachment of significance to them, right or wrong, but giving them purpose as humanity deemed it necessary.
But what is the reality?
Stars are meeting place of various particles and energies, where the information is collected from all over the universe and that information is transmitted again back to the universe. Slowly over many years information acquired gives them a set of characteristics and somehow ancient people saw these characteristics and tried to adjust human characteristics with it giving rise to knowledge of astrology.
With the rise of science only the physical aspects were highlighted and the rest negated but slowly with information theory we know that information is never lost and stars might be just the right place where it is collected and dark star, the black hole, might be a place from where information cannot be recalled, not exactly lost.
Humanity also like to make stars, these stars represents the highest aim in their respective fields may it be art, science, entertainment etc. people look upon them and try to be like them to attain the same high standards which the stars have shown them with their shining light.
In this regard stars either universal or humanitarian serve to call you to a higher ground and show you light even in the darkest of night or despair.
There are another type of stars, and these are found on ground, on earth. They shine in the light and represent the beautiful outcome of nature. They are flowers, with their diverse colors and variety, they remind humanity that if you work rightly, the outcome is going to be beautiful. Like the universe stars, flowers also communicate with each other in their own language.
So what about the day when there will be no star. Yes, there is a day in Allah’s Book when the stars will disappear. Sky will be dark and humanity will not look up to them, information will be excessive but not retrievable, people will not follow any star in any field of life, higher aim will vanish everyone will be on his own, without any guidance and people will not like to meet each other, and verily flowers will disappear and so the beautiful work will be gone. So remember the verse of Quran:
فَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ ٨
[So when the stars disappear]
