Al Jumuah

FRIDAY – A DAY OF GATHERING

Allah has many days and out of them a special prominence is given to Al jumaa( day of gathering).

This is a day where each and everything, every act, order, time and space is gathered and then this day is manifested in this world time within a fraction of time, each fraction different from other.

As a vice-regent on earth, humans have seven days and out of them one is Friday. Believers are ordered to observe this day as a remembrance of day of gathering and manifest it at all levels of activities.

PRAYER.

The jumaa prayer has special place among the prayers. People should collect in one place on the call from mosque(azan). The time of prayer should be relatively early, daily prayers of zuhr and asr should be collected in one, duration of prayer long, followed by dua. Then the people should engage in daily routine, work, business and seek the blessings of Allah.

 فَإِذَا قُضِيَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَانتَشِرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَابْتَغُوا مِن فَضْلِ اللَّهِ

ZAKAT

Zakat should be collected and distributed on this day.

DIFFERENT VERSES RELATED TO THIS DAY – AL JUMAA

• وَجُمِعَ الشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ

This is the day when sun and moon will meet in the end of time

• جَمْعَهُ وَقُرْآنَهُ

Quran should be read collectively, thus a long surah from start of Quran should be recited in prayer.

• أَلَّن نَّجْمَعَ عِظَامَهُ

friday should be a show of strength and unity

• جَمَعَ مَالًا وَعَدَّدَهُ

collect your resource, money, count them ,gather them for your plans

• قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَا أَغْوَيْتَنِي لَأُزَيِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَأُغْوِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

devil has promised to collect and gather groups, beautify them in earth, stray them from real path.

you as Muslim should gather on this day to fight back the devil forces.

• قَوْمَ سَوْءٍ فَأَغْرَقْنَاهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

a day of drowning of different nations, groups.

• انفِرُوا جَمِيعًا

collect your human resource, army

• اللَّهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ

a day when different levels of existence align to repel darkness

• يَوْمَ يَجْمَعُكُمْ لِيَوْمِ الْجَمْعِ ذَٰلِكَ يَوْمُ التَّغَابُنِ

a day when people will deceive in groups and mislead other

• قُلِ اللَّهُ يُحْيِيكُمْ ثُمَّ يُمِيتُكُمْ ثُمَّ يَجْمَعُكُمْ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ

a day of gathering in afterlife after death

• جَهَنَّمَ مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ

hell filled with people and jinn

• مَّا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا

a day when all the heavens and there manifestation in earth get in line for a time. if anyone capture this moment he has access to all heavens for a very brief time

• يَوْمَ يَبْعَثُهُمُ اللَّهُ جَمِيعًا

a day of resurrection

• قُلْنَا اهْبِطُوا مِنْهَا جَمِيعًا

a day of descend , jinn and uns combined.

• وَيَوْمَ نَحْشُرُهُمْ جَمِيعًا

a day when evil will spread, people will be like animals

• وَتُوبُوا إِلَى اللَّهِ جَمِيعًا

repentance is more accepted in a gathered prayer

A WARNING

If the Muslim world manifest this day, as ordered, with all its glory you will see its effect worldwide. Failure to do so, not to show unity, not to gather together is one of the short coming of so called Muslim world now a days. You are reminded of verse:

لَا يُقَاتِلُونَكُمْ جَمِيعًا إِلَّا فِي قُرًى مُّحَصَّنَةٍ أَوْ مِن وَرَاءِ جُدُرٍ بَأْسُهُم بَيْنَهُمْ شَدِيدٌ تَحْسَبُهُمْ جَمِيعًا وَقُلُوبُهُمْ شَتَّىٰ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لَّا يَعْقِلُونَ ﴿الحشر: ١٤﴾

(They will not fight you (even) together, except in fortified townships, or from behind walls. Strong is their fighting (spirit) among themselves: thou wouldst think they were united, but their hearts are divided: that is because they are a people devoid of wisdom)
