THERE IS NO CONTAGION (Sahih Bukhari)
A statement clearly in contradiction to science and belief system prevalent nowadays.
Even believers of Prophet act contrary to this saying, even though they acknowledge it verbally.
So should we deny it, or try to rationalize it according to science.
It follows that neither approach is necessary. What is required is an effort to understand the ways of Allah, how He has created, how He has maintained and how this whole universal life is running.
Understand that Allah has created you and your work, what you see and what you hear, what you think and what you imagine. He has created all this for you and through you.
This means when you discover a bacteria or virus, you make it a reality for your own self by the order of Allah. Allah makes it so , and you go to next level and then understand the life cycle of bacteria or virus, again this understanding is given a reality and you then go to its pathogenesis i.e. how it cause disease and then what happens to diseased person and all this is given a reality for you and obviously through your effort. Thus you create a cause and its effect and then you proceed to next step.
Actually there is nothing wrong with this especially if you acknowledge Allah or at least try to do welfare for other people within this construct.
Thus when you read “there is no contagion i.e. infection is not transmitted from person to person”
Know that Prophet has said the absolute truth, the Haqq, as it is, because contagion is one which you have constructed for yourself while Allah has ordered it to be as you have thought it to be, at your level, below this heaven and on this earth.
