NIFAQ (نفاق ) in Soul

Nafq ( نفاق) is a property of soul, inherent and embedded in it. Your soul rotates around a central pivot and this pivotal point can move around , move up and down, forward and backward.

Any physical object, or nonphysical object i.e. which exist in thought or imagination can occupy this central pivot and your soul encircles it , grow upon it and makes it an integral part of itself.

Thus this point is then manifested in you as your idea, your aim, your desire, or your objective.

This is then further reflected in your actions and hence if you observe all your actions they will be found to focus on this central point.

An example will clear this. If money is your soul center, you will hold on to it and your acts will always reflect this protectiveness of money with a view that money will save you from difficulties and will make different sort of plans to conserve like insurance, saving schemes, investments in shares , gold, real estate.

As you keep on doing it, this center grow and increases making it stronger and your nafaq ( نفاق) increases.

A similar example can be set for love, belief, knowledge, desires.

As this is your soul property every human has it and it cannot escape from it.

By itself this property is neither bad or good but it all depends what you do with it.

If your soul moves upward, rises higher, and holds tight to a higher order, it leaves the previous center and forms a higher center only to ascend further until it reaches the Allah order where this center disappears and now soul stands firm on higher ground with Allah order. Here soul starts to radiate, emit and spend as per Allah order and it achieves a state which is called infaaq. ( انفقو)

Similarly the soul can move down and achieve lower to lower ground but in this case its center increases , its wealth increases, its attachment increases and it ends with accumulation of wealth, desires, knowledge, belief etc. It becomes difficult for soul to empty itself, and it keeps on hoarding and achieves what is called munafiq. ( منافق) So all the objects held in your soul tends to increase munafqat ( منافقت)

Hence the basic difference between infaq ( انفقو) and munafiq ( منافق) becomes that in infaq ( انفقو) state soul is empty, light, radiates and shine while in munafiq ( منافق) state it is full, heavy,absorbs and is dark. As you can readily see one becomes a radiating star with reference to emaan ( ايمان) and other becomes a black star with reference to kufr.( كفر)

You can see why munafiq will be in the lowest level of hell. A munafiq soul is heavy and black, it sinks down and Allah is the One who brings soul from darkness to light.

Between these two extremes there are various grades and shades but know that perfect shine is only with Allah and perfect darkness is only with ghairallah.

As long as you far from Allah order, you have some degree of munafqat in you and you can get rid of this through continuous and repeated action of infaq ( انفاق)
