PRAYER (الصلاة )

A Dream.

There are three types of prayers( الصلاة ) as offered by people with regard to their effectiveness and high ranking :

1. Prayer of common people ( الناس)

These prayers are being offered by people who have forgotten the true essence of prayer, they have forgotten the deeper meaning and often such prayers are ineffective to bring inner change. So you see them offering prayers in a hurry, you always see them to complete the count of rakat and you see them doing same mistakes and faults in their daily life again and again.

But it’s okay. They should not be discouraged but they should keep on endeavoring to improve the quality of prayers.

2. Prayer of Alim (عالِم ) i.e. knowledge

These prayers are timed, well offered, near perfection, often supplemented by nafal (extra) prayers. It is because Alim knows the benefits and virtue of prayers and knows the punishment of missing the prayers. So you see them as regular visitors to masjid or a resident of masjid and most of the other time you see them busy in their daily life.

Its very good. A balanced life of both the world.

Do not be surprised when you see the whole عالَم i.e. universe doing the same, as the whole universe also knows this.

3. Their is another type of prayer which is hardly seen and done. It is not of a common people and it also does not belong to people of knowledge.

This type has the highest ranking. This prayer is not offered or done on time, it has no relation with knowledge, the person doing it knows not the reward or punishment.

Know that such prayer is continuous throughout day and night, it does not stop, the person is not performing the prayer but prayer is being demonstrated through that person. So you will see , if you see such a person that all his acts are prayer .

From this you should know the reality of prayer. Prayer is an act of attachment with God. Common people soul attaches to god for a short time and and then detaches to get busy in their task without remembrance of Allah, so he remains distant from God. People of knowledge has more time attached with God but through an intermediary that is through knowledge, So they have a veil of knowledge in-between .          .

Last category person soul never disengaged from God, He does not know God through knowledge but has presence of God all the time and hence they are Muqarrib ( near one)(  المقربون)
