THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION

Progress- Development- A measurement of civilization- A nation is considered developed based on post-industrial growth in respect of production and economics. A higher amount obviously bring you in the more developed zone. This is widely accepted although it does not take into account other factors like quality of goods, morality of individuals, and ways of transactions.

Industrialization is tightly linked with economy. A robust and stable economy is backbone of industrialization. Through this process variety of products are made which help people in their daily lives and make it easy and comfortable.

Nowadays all this is very obvious and you do not have to deny it. But, Quran is a unique Book, Book of Allah, a guidance, a compulsion and fore teller. What you take as more DEVELOPED may not be HIGHER.

Read Surah Al-Kahf:

أَفَحَسِبَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَن يَتَّخِذُوا عِبَادِي مِن دُونِي أَوْلِيَاءَ ۚ إِنَّا أَعْتَدْنَا جَهَنَّمَ لِلْكَافِرِينَ نُزُلًا [١٨:١٠٢]

قُلْ هَلْ نُنَبِّئُكُم بِالْأَخْسَرِينَ أَعْمَالًا [١٨:١٠٣]

الَّذِينَ ضَلَّ سَعْيُهُمْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَهُمْ يَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّهُمْ يُحْسِنُونَ صُنْعًا [١٨:١٠٤]

أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِآيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ وَلِقَائِهِ فَحَبِطَتْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ فَلَا نُقِيمُ لَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَزْنًا [١٨:١٠٥]

ذَٰلِكَ جَزَاؤُهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ بِمَا كَفَرُوا وَاتَّخَذُوا آيَاتِي وَرُسُلِي هُزُوًا [١٨:١٠٦]

These verses linked in Quran are equally linked to all people in the world, displaying the verses of Allah.

You can infer different meaning but they all lead to same conclusion, on which the verses end.

Mathematics is essential for such transformation. So at the same time Allah is guiding you and at the same time warning you about its pitfall.

For this “Deen”, way of life, behavior, transaction has to be changed. This way of life is below the standards of Islam, both physically and morally.

A group of people need to be strongly committed, befriended for it.

These verses will be displayed through Kafirs, non-believers.

Because this work, these acts are performed by nonbelievers for the wordly gains, these acts are below the higher acts of belief and morality.

These acts are done to sustain beautiful industrialization so they need vast amount of adherence, people linked to each other, they love their industrialization and this worldly love takes away their love in the END. As this worldly life is near and the END life seems far, they will use all their love energy to sustain this other way of life and in the end nothing will be left for them. Kafirs , nonbeliever will not have love for each other on the day of judgement rather they will run away from each other, denouncing each other acts. They definitely will have no love for Allah and so they will be forgotten. This is also because Kafirs, non-believers takes the ways of Prophets lightly. They assume they have more developed ways which are heavier but in the END their weight will be lighter and will carry no weight.

During these times only individuals will be able to act on Islam and do righteous acts, so they will belong to individual Heaven- جنت الفردوس

This is exposition of Quranic verses in our time.

Does it mean progress and industrialization is wrong and un-Islamic?

NO.

On the contrary this is a compulsion from which humanity cannot escape as it is written in Quran.

At the same time it is a warning, calling humanity to HIGHER acts, otherwise they will suffer from loss.

The objective is to make progress and industrialization according to Islamic way of life.

But I has been foretold that only Kafirs, nonbelievers will display the progress and industrialization by making another way of life, so don’t look toward more development, rather try for a higher way of life.

لَا تَمُدَّنَّ عَيْنَيْكَ إِلَىٰ مَا مَتَّعْنَا بِهِ أَزْوَاجًا مِّنْهُمْ وَلَا تَحْزَنْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَاخْفِضْ جَنَاحَكَ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ [١٥:٨٨]

Strain not thine eyes. (Wistfully) at what We have bestowed on certain classes of them, nor grieve over them: but lower thy wing (in gentleness) to the believers.
